Purpose of the foundation
The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of science and research, the promotion of student support and the promotion of international understanding by supporting the cooperation of Clausthal University of Technology with universities in the Russian partner regions of the federal state of Lower Saxony.
Possible projects
Possible projects are
- Assumption of the administrative costs of cooperation efforts,
- Promotion of training in the Russian language at Clausthal University of Technology and at the Robert Koch Gymnasium in Clausthal, as an essential prerequisite for student and academic exchange,
- Provision of scholarships for stays abroad at the Russian partner universities.
Organs of the foundation
The sole body of the Foundation is the Board of Trustees, which is made up of the following members:
- a representative of the Clausthal University of Technology International Center,
- all Clausthal representatives of TU Clausthal's university cooperation with universities in the Russian partner regions of Lower Saxony,
- a Russian teacher from TU Clausthal,
- a Russian teacher from the Clausthal-Zellerfeld grammar school "Robert Koch Schule"
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is the representative of the Clausthal University of Technology International Center.
Applications
All members of Clausthal University of Technology are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted to the International Center of Clausthal University of Technology and will be collected there until the next meeting of the Board of Trustees, which takes place on May 9 of each year at the latest.
At the meeting of the Board of Trustees, a decision will be made on the applications in accordance with the available funding.
