Rudolf Vogel Foundation

Financial support for geoscientific and mining research for the exploration and utilization of deposits

The purpose of the Rudolf Vogel Foundation is to use the proceeds of the foundation's capital to promote outstanding geoscientific and mining research into the exploration and utilization of deposits.

Possible projects are

• Prizes for very good dissertations, theses or student research projects
• Scientific work
• Scientific cooperation with domestic and foreign universities
• Research and teaching activities in need

All members of TU Clausthal who study, teach and research in the above-mentioned field are eligible to apply.

• The application for the Rudolf Vogel Prize for outstanding dissertations, Bachelor's/Master's theses and student research projects must be accompanied by a positive report from the supervising professor.
• For a financial grant for scientific projects, an informal application, if necessary with an application form, is required.

A board of trustees of the foundation selects applications following a call for proposals, which must be submitted to the chairman of the foundation by a deadline.
